A site that is progressing for the goal of everlasting peace within ourselves, our family, our friends, our country and our planet! Thursday, November 30, 2006. Mission Not Accomplished- Impeach the Chief. The time has come, the elections are over and we are about to embark on a new direction in Congress. Through all the campaign rhetoric we have been told by Democratic candidates that there needs to be oversight on the President and his administration. Let us call on that oversight to begin. Has built a...

The blog of getting gone from Oregon. The days go by. The feelings of dread and mild panic that lay within the last post, of course mellowed in a day or two, but the song remains the same. We made a timeline (May 31st, when our lease ends) and we just have to spend the intervening months getting our ducks in a row! I sent the wife some pictures from our last trip to Vermont, but I don't think it cheered her up any. Just a bit too ready to go! The view from the front porch of the house. Just be ruined and...

A site that is progressing for the goal of everlasting peace within ourselves, our family, our friends, our country and our planet! Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Happy Winter Solstice,. So my message for the holiday season is not about the gifts, but a remembrance of what we have all done and what we will become. "So, this is Christmas and what have you done? The war is over if you want it." Think of what we can achieve and it will be done. Peace and Love, Happy Holidays. Deep down inside we know. Previo...

Orygone: January 2009

The blog of getting gone from Oregon. A not so permanent vacation after all. On the positive side, this is the step that I needed to really feel that I have moved. To actually have to deal with getting to work and getting established should help do away with the peaceful, easy feeling of no time constraints or responsibilties I've had this last month. It's made the move feel somewhat unreal and I'm ready to get grounded in this new reality. Lows 10 to 16 below. Highs 0 to 5 below, lows 15 to 25 below zero.

A site that is progressing for the goal of everlasting peace within ourselves, our family, our friends, our country and our planet! Wednesday, November 23, 2005. Give thanks and praise". I am thankful for the water we drink. The human body is two-thirds water and it is the lifeblood of the human body. Water is a primary source of delivering oxygen and nutrients. Water is responsible for removing toxins and waste from the body. Without clean water, what toxins will remain within us? I am thankful for the ...

A site that is progressing for the goal of everlasting peace within ourselves, our family, our friends, our country and our planet! Wednesday, October 12, 2005. Myth of Columbus Day. Transformation of the Myth of Columbus to Reality. Was it right, or is it the inevitable ways of progress? How about evolution, the weaker of the species could not survive and the dominant members continued on. Newer theories such as intelligent design probably claim that the Europeans were chosen by god to be the superi...

The blog of getting gone from Oregon. Today marks Caitlin's first day at work! As she is working in Montpelier (about 40 miles east) and she has to be at work at 7:30, we are starting a few new ways today. Monday through Thursday I will (for the time being at least) be getting a ride to work from the in-law's who will then be watching Elinor from 7:30 until 5:30. Today is also the first day that Elinor has worn Chuck Taylor's! There are so many good ones in Montpelier. And hey.where are you working?
