Writer's Block: Actual science may vary - Blather, Rinse, Repeat

Writer's Block: Actual science may vary - Blather, Rinse, Repeat. September 22nd, 2010. Writer's Block: Actual science may vary. Actual science may vary. How do you feel about animal research and testing? Would you buy products that have been tested on animals? I don't do these things often, but this one touches on a favorite gripe of mine. Humans are part of the animal kingdom, so if a product had not been tested on animals, I would wonder what it had been tested on. September 22nd, 2010 05:33 pm (UTC).

Design - HELLO! THIS IS TELEVISION!
http://diaryarena.livejournal.com/179466.html
Nick wolfe dot ca. Aug 16th, 2009 06:18 pm. So I just switched over to google reader from net newswire (because they turned off syncing and I lost my clippings) and decided it was time to Read Webcomics Via Feeds. What a fucking hassle tracking down the RSS links on all the comics I read! I mean, okay people who draw comics are designers in one sense but they are for the most part not remotely interface designers or layout designers. Neither am I, really: the most recent redesign of Name Removed.

Part i think four of a series - HELLO! Nick wolfe dot ca. Part i think four of a series. Aug 19th, 2006 11:21 pm. Cooking in the Intuitive Kitchen. With your host, Nick Wolfe. It's summertime and the living is easy, it might just be too hot to make the other dishes I've talked about for the most part. So here's something straightforward. It's best made if someone you know gave you a little basket of ripe tomatoes from their garden, or if a bunch of yours are just ripe if you grow them yourself. Stir it a...

Cultural icons that only exist in cartoons - Wodge Blather. March 15th, 2007. 12:13 pm - Cultural icons that only exist in cartoons. Wearing a barrel because you are poor. Wearing a monocle and top hat because you are rich. Criminals with striped uniforms and chains. Short, ragged cigars in the mouths of said criminals. Brown cloth sacks of money with "$" on the side. Hobos with polka-dotted bindles over one shoulder. Pies on window ledges. White gloves as a common occurrence. Shiny black spherical bombs.

DDJ vs. Backyard Poultry - Chris Hanson
http://chanson.livejournal.com/187873.html
DDJ vs. Backyard Poultry. October 8th, 2008. Has a post talking about the sad state of developer publishing. Specifically discussing the declining readership of the venerable developer magazine. As compared to that mainstay of American newsstands. After reading the article and the replies, I just had to throw in my two cents about magazine publishing and why "1% of the US population are software developers, so there should be a huge market for development magazines.". Is the target and that the magazine.

Riddle Me This - Advanced C Community. Aug 15th, 2006 @ 10:51 pm. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't programmers just highly intelligent people paid to play with lego? August 15th, 2006 03:03 pm (UTC). Programmers are not necessarily highly intelligent, and legos never caused me quite this much stress. August 16th, 2006 07:22 am (UTC). Legos should cause stress when you're being asked to build a big enough structure while under time presure. :P. August 15th, 2006 03:13 pm (UTC). And so on and so forth.
