Museum, gallery and craft 'zine. Laquo; Open-top Cars and Normal Women. Panoramic Views and High Winds. The dogs pictured here. April 19, 2010 by pierandocean. I just realised that I haven’t explained the felted dogs pictured on this page. I make them using coloured fluffy wool repeatedly stabbed by a barbed needle. They take quite a long time to make, but it’s totally worth it. Http:/ www.flickr.com/photos/pierandocean/. Looming over my head. Blog at WordPress.com.

Museum, gallery and craft 'zine. Laquo; The dogs pictured here. Panoramic Views and High Winds. May 7, 2010 by pierandocean. Driving in the spit yesterday was fantastic. The air was cool but mild, and the heat from the footwells (probably 60% engine fumes) lingered within the confines of the car, while the fresh air whooshed over our heads. Footnote* On this particular occasion I wore a skullcap (it was a cold day! Blog at WordPress.com.

Observing games/gamer widows | Pierandocean's Blog
https://pierandocean.wordpress.com/2010/05/12/observing-games
Museum, gallery and craft 'zine. May 12, 2010 by pierandocean. There used to be some websites through which “gamer widows” (women, and sometimes men who have “lost” their spouses to computer games – notably WoW). The ones I used to read seem to have slowed and stopped now, I can only guess that either computers got thrown out of windows, or divorce papers got signed. I mentioned Titan Quest to another gamer, his reply was not favourable. Right so other than shouting instructions to your teammates (if you...

Meanwhile, In The City...: July 2009
http://meanwhileinthecity.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Meanwhile, In The City. Thursday, July 23, 2009. Thurs 23/07/09 – 21:30. More excitingly, though, I got my fridge today! A little further than my flat and returned to jump in the shower having only taken my sandals off to remove the worst of the mud. Fun times. Has anybody been to the beach in Nottingham yet? I saw in the Metro that there's a pool and a few tons of sand in Market Square. Do tell me about it of you have – is it filthy yet? Flounces off, dispersing scatter-cushions and giggling.*. I leave ...

Meanwhile, In The City. Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Dancing and a Day Out. I should really stop procrastinating and write more. I'm rapidly falling behind. So, where did I leave off? Still, it was good fun and I think I might adopt it as a hobby. 8221; What a cockney was doing in north London, I'm not sure. From there I headed immediately to Paddington and jumped on a train to Oxford. Enroute I passed a steam train, which saw me pressing my face against the glass like a child in a sweet shop. Meanwhile, In The City...: September 2010

Meanwhile, In The City. Tuesday, September 14, 2010. I was hoping to update this before I went abroad, but I clearly failed there. Moving on, I got to sleep in an actual bed at Leeanne, Simon, and Nathan's new house, which was bizarre. I'm too used to crashing on couches or floors these days. Friends with a spare room? It's like we're turning into civilised adults, which is a terrifying notion. Ross, Peter A, and I took it upon ourselves to succeed at this while Simon and Leeanne ate ice cream, gadded ab...

Meanwhile, In The City. Thursday, August 20, 2009. Thurs 20/08/09 – 21:16. So, I should very definitely be tidying away all the junk I've brought down from the familial home and washing out all the new pans/crockery/etc. that I coerced my much beloved mother into buying so that I didn't have to continue cooking lasagne in a mixing bowl, particularly seeing as the landlords are coming round early doors to give me sofas tomorrow (Huzzah! Ah, but it is pleasant. I shall knock back the Sudafed and coffee bef...

http://meanwhileinthecity.blogspot.com/2010/06/museum-trip.html
Meanwhile, In The City. Friday, June 18, 2010. I can not decide what colour to make this wretched blog. This is starting to irritate me massively. Please bear with me until I make up my mind. Also, if the background image makes things hard to read, or is not tall enough, please can somebody tell me. Not that I really do much at the moment besides crafting increasingly outlandish covering letters, but I suppose I'm due for a update. Bizarrely, the thing that most caught my eye was a very dark drawing by B...

http://meanwhileinthecity.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Meanwhile, In The City. Monday, June 28, 2010. An Evening at the Museum, and a Party in the Park. I think that I'm going to endeavour to update this at least once a week. Clearly, I've failed this week, but I promise I'll try harder in the future. I'll try and make my posts shorter too. I'm also threatening to review every book I read once I finish it for writing practice, but I might yet do that in a new blog. We'll see. It even comes apart to be twisted down to half its full size! Museum, gallery and craft 'zine. May 31, 2010 by pierandocean. As a precursor to this update, I will summarise some of the gaming progress that has taken place since last time. The Titan Quest saga is over! I don’t know exactly why but I think it has something to do with the fact that one of the online players now has a girlfriend (omg! But instead he began to pace the house “bored” because it’s “raining outside and there’s nothing to do”. Great. Obviously no argument can include every type of game; a su...

Life is just what happens to you, While your busy making other plans Beautiful boy (Darling boy), John Lennon.
