March 16, 2009. Stir it Up...: February 2009
http://stiritupwithjackie.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
February 02, 2009. Been eating so healthy since New Year’s Day but we needed a break from all the salads and grilled chicken so we decided to go all out for Super Bowl Sunday. We made the usual ( stuffed jalapenos. Pigs in a blanket, Carolina pulled pork, Queso. Dip, etc.) but the real stars of the evening were the Carrot Cake Cupcakes. Everyone was stuffed by half time but somehow we all had room to do some major damage to the 2 dozen cupcakes I baked. Carrot Cake Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting.

April 21, 2009. Green Enchiladas usually come with green salsa on top but this recipe switches things up a bit and puts the greens on the inside. If you haven’t tried Swiss Chard, this recipe is a great way to try a healthy, new vegetable. If you are already a fan of chard, try this as a vegetarian way to satiate your cravings for South of the Border flavor. 2 teaspoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil. 2 Garlic Cloves, peeled and chopped. 1 medium onion, diced. 189; Cup Milk. 189;-1 Cup Salsa. Stir it Up...: May 2008
http://stiritupwithjackie.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
May 26, 2008. I don't care that it's not June 21. It's Memorial Day Weekend, which means that it is officially summer in my book. Also, in my book, summer is synonymous with burgers, and in a water city like Baltimore, it was fun to kick off the summer season with a Fresh Tuna Burger and Mini-Corn Cakes. Tuna Burgers with Green Curry, Ginger and Mango Dipping Sauce. 1 pound fresh tuna steaks, cut into 1 inch cubes. 1/4 cup diced red and green bell peppers. 2 Tablespoons fresh cilantro. Save the leftover ...

Stir it Up...: Hot Stuff
http://stiritupwithjackie.blogspot.com/2007/11/hot-stuff.html
November 20, 2007. I tried my luck at a rooftop garden this year and was pleasantly surprised at the results. Among other things, I grew countless tomatoes and bell peppers, bunches of herbs, and squash blossoms, but the surprising favorite was the jalapeno. 4 oz Reduced-Fat Cream Cheese. 4 oz cheddar cheese, grated. 10 slices Prosciutto, cut in half. I'm so excited about your blog and I love the pictures. Keep posting! November 21, 2007 at 1:24 PM. November 24, 2007 at 7:44 PM. PS - Love your blog.

August 05, 2008. Soft pretzels are an awesome Sunday afternoon “snacktivity” to do with kids of all ages. Challenging at first, but the shouting obscenities came easy when I added the baking soda to the hot water too quickly and had a 3rd grade baking soda volcano explode all over the stove (and floor, and myself, etc.). The pictures of the mess are entirely too embarrassing to post here, but the pretzels were worth the clean up effort. 1½ cups warm water. 2 tablespoons light brown sugar. Remove the doug...
