A day in the life of. Monday, July 18, 2011. I guess this is what happens when a little girl tries to walk down the stairs while still swaddled up in a towel, rolls down ten steps and her head meets the edge of the square wood post. She got four stitches and was very happy (as you can see here) when she got them out. She was very upset about the whole thing and wouldn't even let us look at the stitches while she had them in. A day in the life of. Monday, July 18, 2011. I've never been a runner in my life, but I've always thought it would be something I would like to do, so after 8 weeks of running and completing the Couch to 5K. Running plan for the second time (I did it after the boys were born), I was ready to try my 2nd 5K with my parents and Rob. My dad was great, he's been running regularly for awhile now, and he came in 12th in his age group of 109 runners! He even beat Rob. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

A day in the life of. Thursday, July 21, 2011. For Rob's 30th birthday, we decided to sneak away as a family to a condo in Galveston. We had the most amazing time, and plan to make this a yearly (if not bi-annual) tradition. We stumbled upon this hidden gem called Pointe West. There is so much to see and do on Galveston Island and the city is so rich with history, that we barely scratched the surface on our 5 day vacation, so we have lots to look forward to in the years to come. Getting a little spunky.

Thursday, July 14, 2011. So a lot has happened in a very short amount of time. I figured I would update the blog.since I have been a slacker. In this order. Father-in-law passed away (sad). Broke Ankle (ouch-really the cast in more of a pain in the rear that what the ankle is). Had my one year NED (no evidence of the disease) date for Melanoma-(BIG DEAL! Decided to move family in with Mom-in-law (lots of work). And I have no pictures of any of it. I might go into more details later, but most likely.
