Our first stop was in Grand Junction, Colorado to see the Colorado National Monument. The Independence Monument and Grand View inside the National Monument area were similar to the canyon lands area of Utah. We had a short stay in Grand Junction and it was time to continue east bound to Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
