Approximately 2,000 workers will be required for the construction of the pipeline, and the vast majority of these workers will be supplied by local unions in both states. A majority of Pilgrim Pipeline jobs are temporary with little or no benefit. Oil and refined products shipped by Pilgrim won’t benefit the region.
