Monday, January 26, 2009. Last week was fairly uneventful. The weather was pretty nice so Craig got to paddle his kayak in the ocean a little bit, which was exciting for him. We went for a bike ride through the city and down to the path along the water on Thursday. Otherwise, it was just a normal work week, nothing too exciting to report. Starting on Friday though, temps shot up into the upper 20’s (80’s) and we even saw one report that said 32, which is in the 90’s, Farenheit! View from Tunnel Beach.

Tuesday, December 29, 2009. The bottom section was much easier and a fun grade III-IV river. We enjoyed more narrow gorge walls in several areas with more open dense rainforest when they flattened out a bit. It felt like paddling through the amazon. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. We received a fantastic set of fuzzy green stick-on facial features in the mail from Kim, so we put them on and headed to our favorite restaurant to celebrate St Patty along with our friend's birthday.
