It's always been my favourite season - the smells, the rich colours and the warmth of the sunlight all make my heart sing, especially from the end of September to the end of October. Saturday, May 16, 2015. Just a Little Rant since it doesn't belong on Facebook. Sorry, I disappeared again. Life has been insane with school concerts (I'm a teacher) and Welcome to Kindergarten and family visiting from England and just general "my life is too busy" kind of stuff. I'm finally coming out the other side of this season of crazy and it feels really good to be back here. I doubt I was missed but I missed writing so that's all that really matters to me. I won't do a full summary but some highlights - Palm Sunday at the Wednesday night service I attend at the Anglican church - I hadn't gotten palm branches or the sing my favourite hymns on Sunday and not only did we sing some favourites on Wednesday, the priest knew that we weren't singing my favourite so she used it as the postlude. Welcome to Pippa's Music School! My love of music started at the age of five learning piano from my mother. This was followed by lessons at the age of eight on my favourite instrument, the violin. My experience has allowed me to play in the West Australian Youth Orchestra, and events held by Fringe Festival and the Performing Arts Festival for Catholic Schools and Colleges. I have played for local bands in Western Australia such as folk bands. The Big Old Bears. Robbie Jalapeno and The Bureaucrats.
