I can't believe how fast week one went and all the over the top super duper vegan posts there have been. Keep up the good work everyone! I know mom would be happy to know I still make it. Miss you MOM! Mom never used measurements so it is all by taste. 1/2 red cabbage chopped. 1/2 green cabbage chopped. 1 or 2 carrots grated depending on size. Vegan mayo (abt 1 cup).

I have adapted my short rib recipe from Anne Burrell. 3 bone-in short ribs and 3 boneless short ribs (about 6 pounds). 1 large sweet onion, cut into ½ inch pieces. 2 ribs celery, cut into ½ inch pieces. 3 peeled carrots, cut into ½ inch pieces. 1 ½ cups (12 ounces) tomato paste. 2-3 cups of water. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Wednesday, July 08, 2009. One main difference: less liquid = more flavor! This lasagna was made mostly from scratch (everything except the noodles). I also used fresh parsley in the crumbles, the sauce, and on top and I think that made a difference. 1 28 oz can tomatoes. 1 can tomato paste. 1-2 cloves garlic, minced. 1-2 Tbsp olive oil.
