Meetings in North Perthshire. North Perthshire Family History Group, formed in 2002, is located in Pitlochry, Perthshire. Meetings are held from October to May, on the 3rd Thursday of the month, at 2.30 pm in Moulin Hall, with speakers, lively discussions and refreshments. Please see the syllabus. Page for this season's programme. Visitors are always very welcome at meetings and at the group's research room in Moulin Kirk. There are currently 49 members researching locally and worldwide.

Welcome From The Trustees. Moulin Kirk is situated in the centre of the conservation village of Moulin, near Pitlochry, Perthshire. The present Kirk was rebuilt in 1875 after a devastating fire. Its main features were an aisle which approached the Pulpit and Communion table from both sides, plus a superb area of galleried pews accessed from staircases by each of the two side entrances. Has been a programme of events during the October period in the Enchanted Forest, culminating on Halloween. There is storytelling, a treasure hunt, ghost tours and street performers. The ghostly characters included the Celtic Devil, Guilder Roy and Donald McBean. We hope to champion a "wood culture" in the North Highlands.
