The Armstrong's: September 2012
http://clan-armstrong.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 1, 2012. Trying to go anywhere with 4 children can be a challenge, the biggest hurdle of that challenge, is actually getting out of the house. Typically it goes something like this. I yell- "Everyone get your shoes on! I listen carefully for the pitter patter of 8 feet running to the closet to get their shoes on.I hear nothing. I call again "Everyone get your shoes on! Because that's all she could find". Maya has conveniently pooped since I strapped her in. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Everyone in the waiting room thought this was funny.and admittedly it kind of was. I mean, if I wasn't the mom whose kid had done it, I would have thought it was hysterical! Tuesday, April 24, 2012. This little growth spurt was ineveitable, but it is hitting mommy pretty hard. I get teary eyed thinking about it. We have 4 little people, that is enough for this family.but ohhh.I didn't know leaving the baby stage would be so emotional for me. Especially since I know what is coming and I love that too.and I am so looking forward to the new stages we are headed too with our older children. Does every mom go through this? The Armstrong's: October 2011
http://clan-armstrong.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Carter informed me, loudly, at Swiss Chalet the other day that boys have penises and girls don't. He followed it with "I'm a boy and I have a penis. You're not a boy, mommy, you have angina". I didn't know I had a heart condition. Maybe he'll be a doctor. Monday, October 24, 2011. 15 minutes later, on the other side of Gravenhurst I blew a tire. It is at this point, I should mention David is not with me! Under our van held on by a wire. Where are the tools? The towing company...

We were going to suggest Tim Hortons if you had the whole family! Here I will add, they had invited us for a visit, we didn't initiate it). Another person recently said to me "your kids are crazy". (I will add, she followed this comment with.every family with 4 kids is crazy! Both of these comments have bothered me for months.

The Armstrong's: November 2011
http://clan-armstrong.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 7, 2011. So Lauren asked us why if Adam and Eve (or people) were created on the 7th day, how do they know the exact order God did things in the first 6 days. We explained that the book of Genesis is a story written by people who were guessing at how God made the world, and that one day probably wasn't one day as we know it, it might actually represent 1000 days, we really didn't know. She said "oh, so its like a metaphor? She also asked why there were no dinosaurs in the bible.lol!
