We've been on a few trips this summer and so enjoyed them. The Outer Banks for our Anniversary, and then later, to New Hampshire camping with family. I'm ready to stay home for a while! Substituting one bottle with a bar in each U.S. home would keep 2.5 million pounds of plastic out of landfills. Or was it from farm fertilizers? As I've written before, I was also brought up with a family that grew most of their food, and recycled just about everything. When I went to college, and then 'out in the world' it was a big surprise to me to see what people throw away.

Sunday, October 31, 2010. I find it amazing how many times something said in everyday life, not meant to be about getting healthy, really relates. For example. TBM had a gross thing on his ear. Had it shaved off 3 different times, burned off once. Just now had it cut out. It was cancer. He was told this. Shaving it off doesn't get the root.". Just like my journey to healthy living. OK, so in my case, I realized that years ago. Today, however, I'm talking about gaining control of my life. Nobody can do that shit for me. I'm on my own. I weighed somewhere in the 170's in 2009.
