A Walk Down MayneStreet

A Walk Down MayneStreet. Crying In the Rain. Today we woke up to rain. I love that sound. The rain on the roof. Even though that meant that the "Terry Fox Run" would have to be held inside today at school. But, that would be okay. We walked to school in the rain and our raincoats, pants and boots. And had fun, even though we were in a rush to get to school on time. On the way home though, Boy and I had nothing but time. He splashed and splashed and laughed and smiled and shrieked. A Walk Down MayneStreet: May 2014

http://www.pjmaynesfamily.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

A Walk Down MayneStreet. In the Drivers Seat. We had walked home from school in the cold yucky wind. Boy had fallen asleep in the stroller and I was desperately hoping he'd stay asleep as I transitioned him from the stroller to the bed (I should've worn him)! I was so tired, too, so I really wanted him to stay asleep! I carried him upstairs to his bed, but he woke up and so I moved him to my bed so I could cuddle him back to sleep. It actually worked! Except I fell asleep, too. Boy was still asleep.

A Walk Down MayneStreet. Summer 2011 Family Campout. We went to the same park for YW Camp, but a different group campsite (Beaver Ranch). It was nice, and so that didn't satiate my curiosity. I had talked to my family, and they said that they'd come camping and that I shouldn't cancel. I was so glad that I didn't have to! I didn't want to end up having to foot the bill myself for one family staying in the whole group area! She loves to fish! This was the only fish she caught, though. Love this guy, too!

A Walk Down MayneStreet. Take me out to the ball game. For Oldest's softball wrap-up party, we went to the Edmonton Capitals baseball game. I was very nervous about it, mostly because Paul had to work late and so that meant me doing dealing with the three girls by my onesie. But he showed up at the beginning of the third inning! And the girls loved it! The pictures are courtesy of my cell phone, but they are better than nothing! So out of order, here goes. It was very cool! We did it three times!

http://nanjingnatter.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

It May be Spring. We drove back from Canmore on Wednesday stopping in Calgary to run an errand. We were home by 2:00 pm Becky and I were in charge of club last evening so I spent the day working on the supper. Today is supposed to be 20 degrees Celsius. Here are some of Bob's photos taken in Canmore. The Three Sisters - Faith, Hope and Charity. Garden Center from the Balcony. Jacqueline in the Kitchen. View from our window last night. Sun shining through the clouds. A Big Day for Keaton. Sunday we attend...

Go Baines Go: May 2015

http://nanjingnatter.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html

Last Week of May Already. There was a thunder storm Monday afternoon and we got some rain. There was a lot more rain on the north side. In the evening we went to FHE and heard LaVern and Jack Appleton talk about their trip to Machu Picchu. LaVern and some friends did an eight day hike to get there. The scenery was beautiful, but I wouldn't have liked to hike that trail. Wednesday I went to club at Pratts and enjoyed supper and a visit with friends. It poured rain last night. My computer is slowly dying.

Life as we know it. Saturday, May 23, 2009. Saw this on someone else's blog and had to stop myself from LOL. (It's 121 am and the house is quiet so I don't want to wake anyone.) Yeah I know I should be in bed but I'm not. Thinking of Having Kids? Do this 11-step program first! 1 Go to the grocery store. 2 Arrange to have your salary paid directly to their head office. 4 Pick up the newspaper. 5 Read it for the last time. 1 Methods of discipline. 2 Lack of patience. 3 Appallingly low tolerance levels.

Life as we know it. Monday, September 15, 2008. Fun in Southern Alberta. Lots of fun stories to share this post. Had the opportunity to go down to Cardston and Grandpa sit while my parents went on a week long Alaskan cruise. My two sisters (Holly and Ada) and Holly’s dog Koona joined Kellan, Scott, Sasha and I. I think a fun time was had by all – even Grandpa! I think they enjoyed our lunch more than we did! Mom and Dad came home late Wednesday night and we were lucky enough to spend the day as a family ...

Life as we know it. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. We just spent the last week down at my parents house in Cardston. My grandfather passed away on Oct 16 and Scott's employers were kind enough to let him take the entire week off with only 15 min notice. They may not pay the most but they are good to their employees in other ways so I can't really complain, well except for the money but that's a whole nother post! Grandpa and his son in law (my dad). Life as we know it. Thursday, December 17, 2009. I guess really the title of this blog post shouldn't be "Christmas Baking #1" because there is no baking involved, just microwaving but Christmas Microwaving sounds dumb. . . 3/4 c margarine or butter. 2/3 c evaporated milk. 1 pkg (8 oz) Bakers Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces. 1 jar (7 oz) Marshmallow Creme. 1 c chopped nuts. Microwave margarine 4 quart microwavable bowl on HIGH 1 minute or until melted. Add sugar and milk; mix well.
