Monday, January 30, 2006. Work: Unrecognized attribute 'xmlns'. Once I got the project compiling, I still couldn't get the asmx file loading. There was an error in the xml parsing. The message I got was:. Some more Googling turn up this site, which nicely told me that my problem was I had IIS set to use ASP.NET version 1.1.4322.
