small wonders: February 2014
http://small-wonders.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Other things: We saw a huge great grey owl on our driveway the other day- such magic to watch it swoop from tree to tree. There have been a lot more sick bugs in the house this year than in past years- nothing serious, but enough to throw things off the rails a bit. Listening to lots of stories on tape- A Mouse Called Wolf. Was enjoyed this weekend. Dorian has almost memorized some of Jill Tomlinson. Willa is such a wonder- gosh we enjoy this baby girl! Curriculum with our kin...

http://creeksideparkers.blogspot.com/2013/05/farm.html
Any fool can know. The point is to understand. Tuesday, May 14, 2013. As my youthful years are slowly falling behind, I am reminded what I enjoyed about my youth and the memories now, that remind me of those days. I find myself looking for them again, I never thought I would. I have so many memories of my summers spent in Nebraska, on the farm. While I LOVED those summers, I never saw myself as a 'farm girl', no way, no how! My sister is the animal lover, not me. Jump ahead 25 years. I want a farm too!

Any fool can know. The point is to understand. Thursday, May 16, 2013. For upgrading me into adulthood. Just kidding, but seriously, new bedroom furniture sure gives you that feeling. A friend and fellow blogger. Posted that after 8 years of marriage, they now have MATCHING nightstands! Now that we've made those changes, I'm ready to re-paint and finish our bathroom! It's a 'if you give a mouse a cookie' sort of thing. Out with the old. In with the new. Kade, he helped me put all this together.

I have been having a hard time thinking of what to write for this series, as I often find the act of feeding my family to be a little less inspired at this time of year. Of course I do it, and we are all eating well enough, but late winter is just a hard time to be in the kitchen for me. The root cellar veggies are dwindling (and wrinkling! Plan (a little,). Sunday- pizza or burgers or soup or whatever. When I am feeling uninsp...
