This year, PLDI is initiating a novel experiment: giving authors the opportunity to submit for evaluation any artifacts that accompany their papers. A similar experiment ran successfully for ESEC/FSE 2011, ECOOP 2013, and OOPSLA 2013, and we want to build on its success. This document describes the goals and mechanics of this process. Guidelines for Packaging AEC Submissions. Below we outline guidelines on how to package artifacts for submission. We are open to possibilities that we have not considered below; however, in cases where systems ought to fit these options, we suggest authors use them.
