Evangelical Christian • homeschooling mother of five • gardener • seamstress • lover of all things domestic • and sometime attorney. Monday, May 18, 2015. Jasper Gets Used to the Halter. We bought Jasper's pink halter and lead rope when we still thought he was a girl. He's very amenable to being trained, and loves the hugs and kisses he gets afterwards. Corky watches everything from a discreet distance. Jasper is darling (that face! In his pink halter (ahem.) but corky has stolen my heart. :). All images...

http://tendingourgardens.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 21, 2015. A New Phase of Life. Last fall our family moved my in-laws to a new little retirement home, just a few blocks away from their home of 50 years. It was an exiting day for them, as they had looked forward to this. We had a few younger friends helping us out, and they made such a difference! At lunchtime we all took a much-needed break for lunch at my sister-in-laws. What didn't fit in the house, started piling up in the garage. And on to the new. Links to this post. Elias himse...

The Best Days: Lunch with my little warrior
http://thebestfamilydays.blogspot.com/2013/06/lunch-with-my-little-warrior.html
This is the day the Lord has made. I will be glad and rejoice in it. Psalm 118:24. Thursday, June 6, 2013. Lunch with my little warrior. We made a "spearmint" today by mixing mayo, ketchup and dill relish. aka -1000 island dressing. He wanted to spearmint with PB and ketchup so I steered him in a little different direction.) It was such a hit that he ate BROCCOLI with it for lunch! He also felt that it was such a special sauce that it needed to be heavily guarded by some special forces! The Mister and Me.

Thursday, March 25, 2010. I am not sure I like his tone. Or some of the friends he chooses. Or the way he treats his brother sometimes. I am not sure I like his reading choices but I still read them with him. Or his homework habits. Or the fact that he is sleeping without a shirt now. He is growing. He is working hard at this growing. He is changing before my eyes. Most days this saddens me. I want to bottle him at 5 or so. He still calls me mommy. He still wants me to tuck him in. A Circle of Quiet.

Pleasantview
The default Sims 2 families of Pleasantview. As anyone may have gathered, since I haven’t updated this blog since 2012, I have stopped playing Pleasantview due to many glitches (Sims disappearing, etc), so I feel it’s safer to let them be, sadly. I am concentrating on Veronaville at the moment, so I’m still playing Sims 2 but Veronaville is currently free of any such glitches. April 17, 2016. Then they started fighting. Not just one fight either. In the background you can see another. March 24, 2012.
