We are all of to Nottingham Centre Parcs, which was Ashleighs choice. Just whats needed, a week of relaxation and calm. I envision plenty of walking, swimming and eating plenty of good food. I located this bag at the bottom of my wardrobe (hense the creases! It's years old and perfect for fitting my purse, phone, keys and diary in. In order to raise copious amounts of money for two incredible causes my colleagues and I took part in an 88mile cycle ride yesterday, from Birmingham to Milton Keynes. Thankfully it was shortened from 188 miles! And what an incredible day it was. Filled with laugher, tears, rain and sunshine. All topped off with a nice glass of bubbly. And should you feel like donating I would be very grateful.

Whilst I do love Christmas and all the yummy food we have it's always good to move about a bit in order to help move any excess food I may have wolfed down. So yesterday I headed with the inlays for a lovely walk along the canal. It was frozen solid underfoot and very crisp but you soon warmed up as you got moving. A Little Bit Of This And That . Wednesday, 3 August 2011. Perfect timing . NOT! I've just been signed off work for a week (initially) . just 3 days before I go on my hols which means no holiday pay and having to let work down when they need me most! The manager is already off on her hols and we're a staff member short as well, so having to phone in and explain I'm not going to be in for the next 3 days went down like a ton of bricks! I'm also banned from driving for the foreseable which isn't good either!

Confession time; I'd not come across digiscoping before and had to phone a friend. It's essentially a camera mounted on a spotting telescope instead of a lens. This allows you to get in really close to your subjects, which is brilliant, especially when they are a long way off. To try digiscoping with expert Danny Porter.
