The Blog of Mike Ng: Sleepless in the Ganu
http://mikench.blogspot.com/2007/03/sleepless-in-ganu.html
Friday, March 02, 2007. Sleepless in the Ganu. Strangely enough, I decided to stay back here despite having a long weekend. But I decided that I would make the most of it. That of course would involve doing something that I wouldn’t normally do on a regular weekend. The Petronas' Kerteh Integrated Petroleum Complex (KIPC) breaks the eerie gloom of the Kerteh-Paka stretch. It also plays a major part in the light pollution that plagues the area. Posted by Mike Ng at 12:27 PM. Son, we are proud of your tale...

The Blog of Mike Ng: October 2004
http://mikench.blogspot.com/2004_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 31, 2004. Today was the day that the Daylight Savings time was carried out. I didnt really feel the effects of pushing the clock one hour back until the afternoon came. At about 3pm I was so exhausted. I decided to take a nap and before I did, I made a fatal mistake.I checked my email. Lo and behold, there was an email from this Singaporean telling me that there's a SEA Night meeting today at 4pm. Arrggh! Less than one hour of nap time? It was better than not getting any at all. I find it...

The Blog of Mike Ng: Muscle Musings
http://mikench.blogspot.com/2006/11/muscle-musings.html
Wednesday, November 29, 2006. The problem with staying in the same house as a muscle-head is having this physical inferiority complex. Hang out and you’ll get the feeling that you’re pretty darn small and no one really bothers about you. Now before you dump me in the Attention Whore basket, let me clarify that it’s really not the case. The sad thing I notice is that a lot of guys tend to work a lot on their upper body and totally neglect their lower regions (stop thinking). In the end you get these g...

The Blog of Mike Ng: Ode to the Travelling Pants
http://mikench.blogspot.com/2007/03/ode-to-travelling-pants.html
Sunday, March 25, 2007. Ode to the Travelling Pants. I was sitting on the ole porcelain throne while on a business trip recently, when I looked across the bathroom and hit an artistic "moment". There, hanging at the door was my weathered Old Navy pants I bought about three years ago. Here's to you, my old faithful. Proof that I'm rotting o'er here. Posted by Mike Ng at 4:10 AM. I dont even have to make up stuff to make fun of you O:-). J/k: you know we love you mike. March 26, 2007 1:23 PM. God is Good :).

The Blog of Mike Ng: Picking up the Pieces
http://mikench.blogspot.com/2007/01/picking-up-pieces.html
Saturday, January 06, 2007. Picking up the Pieces. I have to admit that I was on the verge of totally giving up photography as a hobby. Shocking but true. I found myself being more content with spending my little snippets of available time on MSN or catching EPL Highlights. But what a waste it would have been if I did. Spluging half a fortune on equipment has weighed heavily on my conscience. How could I let all that money and more importantly time spent vaporize just like that? Anyway, this post has alr...

The Blog of Mike Ng: God is Good :)
http://mikench.blogspot.com/2006/12/god-is-good.html
Sunday, December 10, 2006. God is Good :). Wow, just when you've felt so far away, you suddenly get a gentle reminder that He's up there watching over you. I had some "Praise the Lord" moments yesterday which seemed to have come out of nowhere and in a flood as well. It's true when they say that being in adverse conditions allows you to appreciate the simple things in life better. Even more inspiration to thank the Lord for each and every living day. Thank you God for (in random order). The Michigan Mob :.

The Blog of Mike Ng: Surviving the 'Ganu
http://mikench.blogspot.com/2007/11/surviving-ganu.html
Friday, November 09, 2007. Certain survival skills are required to survive the east coast state especially if you’re coming from anywhere else in the world. Simply because there’s no place quite like it on the planet. If you’re coming for a visit then this wont apply to you, so carry on with your life. But if you’re here for more than a week, be warned. Here’s a shortlist of what to expect and what you should prepare for. 1) Ever-changing traffic flow:. 2) Back to the dining halls:. For about 3 months in...

Sketches on screen: October 2005
http://carolchj.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 06, 2005. An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up" ( Proverbs 12:25. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears" ( Psalm 34:4. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" ( Philippians 4:6-7. Luke 12:22-26, NIV). Why so disturbed within me?
