Eli - Month 3. July seemed to go by way too fast. I'm back at work as I write this now which is going well. We had our midwest trip in July. There were more swimming lessons for Pip. The weather was very wet, either rainy or humid. We found a daycare for Eli and so far, so good. They think he's the cutest thing, so it's good we have that in common. A little boy who couldn't wait. Introducing Eli Scott, born three weeks early on 4/30. We are figuring out our new normal. My mom arrived a few days ago for a few weeks visit. Of course there are a bunch of friends and coworkers I will miss (and a couple of coworkers I won't), but as for things uniquely 'burg-ish:. Things I will miss:. Going into stores that are huge and never ever ever crowded (grocery stores, Target, etc). Air conditioning by default everywhere you go. Seeing 18th-century "folks" doing 21st century things.

Sunday, July 18, 2010. We won't be homeless. After a grueling week of traveling to both western New York and New York City, we found places to move into when we leave the 'burg. Corbett will be living in a 19th-century mansion that has been converted into apartments. The place is ridiculously gorgeous, and has a brand new kitchen.
