On Saturday 23rd August, Aberdeen Coastguard requested the launch of Invergordon RNLI Lifeboat with the volunteer crew tasked to a disabled yacht, which had become dismasted. With her 2 crew became dismasted approximately half a mile out with the Sutors, and required assistance. Aberdeen Coastguard requested the launch of Invergordon’s All-weather Trent class Lifeboat.
