Plundering through life: Working Under Pressure

http://plunderingthroughlife.blogspot.com/2008/10/working-under-pressure.html

Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day. Sunday, October 5, 2008. Tomorrow is the day when idlers work, and fools reform. I am simply amazed at my ability to procrastinate, despite knowing all of the reasons not to. Perhaps going back to grad school for a doctorate wasn't such a good idea. And, when someone asks you what you do well, it is bad that the first thing that comes to mind is your ability to procrastinate? Target=" blank" Funny Motivational Posters. Simple template&#4...

Plundering through life: A Whole Lotta Nuthin'

http://plunderingthroughlife.blogspot.com/2009/04/whole-lotta-nuthin.html

Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day. Monday, April 6, 2009. A Whole Lotta Nuthin'. I have become borderline obsessed with blogs. I have several that I follow and I get slightly irritated when there are no new posts each day for me to read! I mean, really, people? Don't you know that your blogs are the only things that save me from boredom at work? Am not a daily blogger. So, in the absence of something funny or meaningful to say, you should go here. You can thank me later.

Plundering through life: Bitter, Party of One

http://plunderingthroughlife.blogspot.com/2009/08/bitter-party-of-one.html

Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day. Thursday, August 27, 2009. Bitter, Party of One. Well, I haven't posted in, seriously, 5 months, so why not jump back in by being bitter. I have a good life, a really good life. In the scheme of all the things that could. Be going on in my life, I have to say I'm pretty happy with what I have. Today, however, I'm BITTER. Well, maybe not BITTER, just bitter. There's a singer/songwriter Ellis Paul. All of these things and he was nice?

Plundering through life: Some perspective

http://plunderingthroughlife.blogspot.com/2009/04/some-perspective.html

Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day. Tuesday, April 21, 2009. If you didn't see Oprah this week (which I didn't, but have a friend who did), you should definitely acquaint yourself with this blog. Now I'm only on July 2008, but it's so worth the read. And you may want to get a box of kleenex out too. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying. - Oscar Wilde. Plundering through life: December 2008

http://plunderingthroughlife.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day. Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Two steps forward, eight steps back. There have been times when the ulcer has been really bad, so much so that I took a month of medical leave from my job just to try to get a handle on things and heal. When I quit my job in student activities, the ulcer healed within a month. How's that for a sign? Anyone want to know how difficult it is to be on crutches and live by yourself? Here in the Bluegrass...: Spring on the Farm

http://hereinthebluegrass.blogspot.com/2012/05/spring-on-farm.html

HERE IN THE BLUEGRASS. Thursday, May 3, 2012. Spring on the Farm. It's so hot it feels like summer, not spring! And, the bugs are out in full force this year because we had such a mild winter. But, I'm not complaining. I love the warm weather. I love the new buds on the rose bushes, the green, green grass as far as the eye can see, and the longer days filled with dirt and hard work. A chance to succeed and even thrive. Visit our new farm site at Palisades Point Farm. From our Farm to your Table.

Here in the Bluegrass...: September 2011

http://hereinthebluegrass.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

HERE IN THE BLUEGRASS. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Of my life in the past several days:. 1 After not seeing my little Ninja for awhile I went looking for him. As I rounded the corner to the laundry room I saw him peeking out at me from behind the door. With a BIG. FAT. CHOCOLATE. ring around his mouth. He had been in the freezer eating a chocolate popcicle. (our deep freeze is under the stairs in a closet). 2 I was told that my little man does not like Sesame Street. "Why not? Says my sweet boy. Instead of traditional chair lifts, most of the smaller ski resorts in the Alps have T-bars. The T-bars I've seen before you hold onto the "T" and are pulled up the slope. These you sit on the "T" and ride up, or snowboarders have to straddle the "T." Picture of Lindsay below:. The tricky part is that you ride for almost 10-15 minutes. . Tuesday, February 12, 2008. I never realized how much advertisements and food packaging seeps into our brains. These first few weeks it takes an hour to pick up 5 items in the store because I have to go down every aisle and read every package (well, translate every package). My new obsession is the Chinese/Malaysian restaurant that is about 5 kilometers away (about 3 miles). They have the best food, and to top it all off - they are in Italy!

The Complexities of Liquid Integration: A Study in Beverage Racism. June 4, 2010 at 3:21 pm ( Uncategorized. The other day an aquantance made the remark that green tea was extra delicious. I found this very highly offensive. Why did he need to specify its greenness? Why are drinks judged by their color? I have a dream that one day every tea leaf shall be exalted and every dry field shall flow with honey and non-alcoholic wine and Pepsi will live in unity with Coke and the water shall turn into Gatorade.

Plundering through life

Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day. Thursday, October 28, 2010. My friend Courtney and I did a really cool thing on Sunday - a StoryCorps. I heard that StoryCorps was in town and started thinking about how cool it would be to do an interview so I went online and signed up for one of the very few spots left. I am so very glad I did. Since Courtney and I have been friends (since 2001! Thursday, August 27, 2009. Bitter, Party of One. There's a singer/songwriter Ellis Paul.
