Plymbridge Woods is owned by the National Trust and is managed as part of the Plym Valley estate which covers an area of over 4000 acres. The Plym Valley comprises of rugged tors and open moorland before turning into a wooded valley carved out by the river Plym. Depending on the season the woodland floor can be carpeted with wood anemones, bluebells, primroses, wild garlic or foxgloves. We are always looking for more people to help us to protect the Peregrines and raise awareness of the importance of this project. It is a great opportunity to become part of a team and to interact with people who are interested in the birds or who would like to know more. The role of a Peregrine Volunteer. What will I be doing? Peregrines at Cann Quarry and the birth of the project. For decades, visitors to Plymbridge Woods have enjoyed the opportunity to observe the spectacular activities of nesting peregrines in Cann Quarry. Mirando la fecha de la puesta que realizaron en esta caja nido, hoy cumplían los 26 días de incubación y nos hemos pasado para ver como van. No hemos podido afinar más! Nos hemos encontrado a la hembra con dos pollos recién nacidos y tres huevos por eclosionar. Como es el instinto.los pollos con pocas horas entre los huevos, la hembra ha cogido una presa y troceandola en porciones minúsculas ha cebado a los pollitos! Enviar por correo electrónico.

Continuamos con el anillamiento de los cernícalos que crían en nuestras cajas nido, en este caso era el turno de la caja que tenemos situada en el Hospital Miguel Servet, una de las parejas más activas y que más alegrías nos ha deparado en los vídeos capturados. Miércoles, 29 de julio de 2015. Un juvenil de halcón peregrino con anillas de pvc y metálica, posado en poste de línea eléctrica en Juslibol hoy mismo. Supongo que es uno de los cuatro pollos marcados este año en las inmediaciones dentro del Proyecto Halcón peregrino Zaragoza. No consigo leer bien el código: ¿001?
