It was interesting to move onto the primary sources because after hearing writers commentaries I craved a better understanding of what really happened. Although the records of witch trials are most likely bias to some extent, they give great insight into what the thinking of the times was. When reading them you get a real sense of how fear spread in the Salem community and how it was implemented as a tool for power.
