Let Them Eat Croissants. May 22, 2014. Fitness is an important aspect of life. I like to think that being in Europe, while it may have reshaped my proportions (excellent glutes and toned legs from the French and a budding beer belly from the Irish), has allowed me to maintain an acceptable fitness level for most daily activities. However, walking the mostly flat streets of Cork did not prepare me for Arthur’s Seat, a ridge overlooking the city of Edinburgh. St Giles’ Cathedral. A view of Princes Street.
