On the Sunday we took advantage of the three course special and on Thursday evening we ate al-a-carte. On both occasions the food was excellent, the ham hock terrine and the devilled kidneys were to die for! The service was proficient and friendly and you are not tucked in too tightly like some restaurants. Certainly recommend Poachers. Mike CREWE (06/07/2009) says.

In 2004 they purchased the adjacent property which at the time was a Greengrocers Shop and renovated it to expand the restaurant, increasing in size from 36 covers to over 50.
