Lunacy | Poetry Attempted
https://poetryattempted.wordpress.com/2014/06/25/lunacy
The night falls to lunacy on this night of lunar escapades. Silent measures of grand design positions you in shadowed realms. Reflecting in reddish haze as if embarrassed to say. Look at me and see I’m only a reflection by design. June 25, 2014. Holes In the Night. Butterfly and Breeze →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Holes In the Night | Poetry Attempted
https://poetryattempted.wordpress.com/2014/06/22/holes-in-the-night
Holes In the Night. Holes in the night sky loosen visions of light. For my eyes to see a million miles away. Fashioned and shaped extended my way. Explored and found like a cavern deep. Cain Slew Another … | Poetry Attempted
https://poetryattempted.wordpress.com/2014/07/30/cain-slew-another
Cain Slew Another …. Cain slew Abel with malice in his heart. Brewing and stewing death in a brother. In a back alley way waiting his chance. Blood was spilled and life was gone. The intent awakened a sorrow to beg. Too much to bear, too much to wear. Suffering shared by the One who knew. Emerging on the run he ran our way. Passed his cup to waiting hands. Crouched beneath a wanting inside. With malice in the heart Cain lives on. He brews and stews in alleys dark. Staged on empty stages to spill again.

The trees stand still. So as not to move. The air is silent, no sound. Looking into the cotton cloud sky. The sound of sweat beads up. Hot on this July morn. The day is born. The sun to beat it long. From one end to the other. The dance of the day melts. Sweltering in the Adirondack. The mind holds still. So as not to say or do. And there I met today. Posted in My Poetry. July 13, 2014. But I …. Know not where they came from. Or where they’ll go leaving me. Am just the same. Not knowing but knowing.

Lost In Translation |
https://aubuchon.wordpress.com/2013/04/15/lost-in-translation
As I read Acts 2:17-21 I jotted a few notes … prophecies, visions and dreams are not based upon my whims and wants but upon the Spirit directing my heart to see, uncover, the dream of God He has planted in me. What is God’s dream for me? It begins with the translation found in God’s Word. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Sweet Smelling |
https://aubuchon.wordpress.com/2015/02/18/sweet-smelling
As I smelled the smell I realized it was a gentle reminder of how my life is to be lived … a sweet smell to my Father … as well as to others. Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Are You Making A Difference? |
https://aubuchon.wordpress.com/2013/09/15/make-a-difference
Are You Making A Difference? The past few days I’ve been questioning myself as to whether or not I am making a difference. It’s an inside question, not intended to seek out pats on the back or words of affirmation. It’s just an honest question, “Is what I’m doing making difference in someone’s life? This questioning came about after listening to a segment on NPR titled, “ Treating Kids’ Cancer With Science And A Pocket Full of Hope”. The question I asked myself was “Am I making a difference? 8221; I shar...
What About Bob? |
https://aubuchon.wordpress.com/what-about-bob
In My Opinion I am Bob … boB … coming and going. Really nothing to tell about myself … but this I will tell … I enjoy poetry, reading and writing of it … I enjoy photography and the light spectrum … and I have recently started watercolor painting of which I love. A few favorites of my life are … the movie “What About Bob” … two of my favorite authors are, Henri Nouwen and Brennan Manning … they seem to have a grasp on what life really is about. Forget Yesterday – Live Today |
https://aubuchon.wordpress.com/2014/01/04/forget-yesterday-live-today
Forget Yesterday – Live Today. Don’t you dislike the conversation of some people who always drag up the past of their lives? They talk about their past hurts, pains, frustrations and who did them wrong. I have to admit they are irritating and I’d like to say, “Get over it and get a life! Now I admit I have this conversation with myself almost daily! I am constantly telling myself as I spew my past to my inner self … “Bob get over it and get a life! Why am I like that? Why are we like that? But the more w...

Exodus God’s Word. Do to others as you would have them do to you. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. 3:12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,. Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles, 18 lest the Lord see it and be displeased, and turn away his anger from him. The words you sang to me. Psalm 10...
Water = Life |
https://aubuchon.wordpress.com/2013/03/02/water-life
Don’t overlook the obvious when Jesus asks for a drink of water at the well in Samaria. The obvious is … Jesus was thirsty. Jesus identifies with our humanity which is the level we must identify with others. My spiritual condition was the same as the woman at the well … a sinner in need of the water of salvation. Jesus offered her living water as He did me. Good news from far away is like cold water to the thirsty. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

We all have them and I'm sharing mine here: little mind monsters turned poetic. Wednesday, July 20, 2011. I tend to forget I'm a "girl" when I'm out and about doing some ordinary thing, like buying toilet paper at the closest store to me because I forgot we were almost out and I can't stand the notion of using paper towels as replacement, and I just do my day to day thing and I am what I am, you know? Yes, a simple human. Thank you, universe. Sunday, July 3, 2011. Es tiempo to surrender you ears. The oce...

Poetry Attempted
My Brother My Friend. Measure of life and death is. A calculation of time. A date to open and close. Marked by epitaphs along the way. A friend to all, but a friend to me. A brother I was born. A brother you shall always be. Scores of recollections collected. Hang still as the artist of the past. You were, you went, but you remain. Gathered here in birth this day. Giving way to death that came. Celebrate you did and you sang. Your song that lives and breaths. Aroused in my memory. Posted in My Poetry.
