Poems That I wrote Either For Class Or On My Own
Poetry By Lori: Clean Limericks I
http://poetrybylori.blogspot.com/2009/11/couple-of-clean-limericks.html
Poems That I wrote Either For Class Or On My Own. Friday, November 20, 2009. I once knew a girl from Manhattan. Whose invention had gotten a patent. It involved several sticks,. And it did lots of tricks,. Too bad it required too much battin'! There once was a Doctor named Who. Last of the Time Lords, who knew? For him, time was fun. Unless it couldn't be undone. But he always had a wonderful view! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Quoth the Rapper (Parody of The Raven). Ode to a Toddler.
Poetry By Lori: Little One
http://poetrybylori.blogspot.com/2009/11/little-one.html
Poems That I wrote Either For Class Or On My Own. Friday, November 20, 2009. From your chicklet teeth. Pools of blue water reflect. From your big, wide eyes. My heart swells three sizes. My arms are your cozy blanket. The changes were great. All for the better. Since you've entered our lives. I keep you safe. And you reward me with kisses. But when you're grumpy. They don't come so easily. But I do know. That we love you very much. You don't know what it means yet. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Poems That I wrote Either For Class Or On My Own. Friday, November 20, 2009. Save the sea kitties. They deserve our undying protection. Forget the mere fact that they look good on a plate. Lying on lettuce surrounded by lemon wedges. We still must save them! Save the sea kitties. Their lives are worth more than ours! Forget the mere fact that their flesh tastes so good. And that they’re too dumb to avoid our hook and bait. We still must save them! Save the sea kitties. Because their numbers are low.

Poems That I wrote Either For Class Or On My Own. Friday, November 20, 2009. By the wide, wide river. Calm set in around us. Day went into night, and. For us, it was perfect. Grass blades bending under our bare feet. Hands interlocked, a lover's vineyard. I look at him and smile. Just like it was when we were young. Knowing what the other is feeling, and. Loving every moment together. My heart skips with a beat. Not heard by anyone around us. Only my ears hear the sweet music. Quite content in our love.
Poetry By Lori: Anti-Poem: It Shouldn't Matter
http://poetrybylori.blogspot.com/2009/11/anti-poem-it-shouldnt-matter.html
Poems That I wrote Either For Class Or On My Own. Friday, November 20, 2009. Anti-Poem: It Shouldn't Matter. Rhyme schemes aren't necessary. If you really want to make a point. I mean, who ever found a rhyme for orange? The closest you can come is door hinge. And we all know that doesn't make sense. It's the point that you really want to get across. Who cares about whether you have the. Right number of stanzas? As long as the meaning is there. It really shouldn't matter. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

I’ve been trying to think of a way to tell you. The thoughts I have in my head. They’re there whether I’m walking around. Or just lying down in my bed. I wanna slash my veins. Or overdose again tonight. I just want the struggle to end,. Even if it means I’ve lost this fight. I’m tired of trying so hard,. And yet no happiness is in sight. So now tonight is the end,. Even though I know it’s not right. So as I write my final farewell,. I am sorry to my family and friend. For not getting better again,. And w...

The Healing of Grieving (Poetry for Pain Relief)
The Healing of Grieving (Poetry for Pain Relief). Grieving is a painful process. it was heartbreaking to watch my husband fight his way through the cancer journey. It was heartbreaking to see how much pain he endured. But nothing - nothing - could prepare me for the heartbreak of living without him. I have found writing poems a useful way to cope, at least for now. This blog will be exclusively for my poetry. I hope you find some meaning in some of these words. Tuesday, 27 September 2011. I hope you enjoy them! There is a grace. I wish to impart,. A life’s work of art. A world set apart. I give you this legacy. A man can live free. There’s an end to human agony. Poetry By Luke Delia
Poetry By Luke Delia. Monday, August 2, 2010. Life on the Farm. Life on the Farm. Spring is here and the sun is back. Life in the greenhouse will now begin. Seedlings grow as the days go by. Eager young plants trying to sprout high. Summer is here and the warmth is back. Life in the fields will now begin. Everyday is a changing scene. All the plants are now very green. Fall is here and harvest is back. Life in the barn will now begin. The clock is running; it’s a big race. Monday, July 26, 2010. The days...
