Wycombe Sound 106.6

Wycombe Sound 106.6. Sunday, 4 March 2018. The fox is sleeping. At the side of the road the fox lies sleeping. In the heart of farmland and homeland. Stretched out as if at ease. Tailed tucked in, snout out in relief. Thursday, 23 November 2017. There is a tree in my memory. Hollowed out of mollusced softness. Black and burnt she felt like a cloak. Where one could hide from others eyes. Seek shelter where no one spoke. Sunday, 19 November 2017. We laid our back against the stack. When you lose someone.

http://poetryinpubs.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Arts4Every1 Fri 10 June. Sunday, 11 May 2014. Now that I am gone. You left your shoes. In the porch, outside the door. You left the upright Hoover. In the middle of the floor. The gate is open. I know you’re in. The car is in the driveway, . I can’t see the cat or hear the dogs. Our house is so quiet now. Mi primera poema espaňola. Aquí el sol hace escondidos con la lluvia. Hay un viento que lleva puesta etiqueta. Y hay la primavera como un adolescente. Para dejar su rastro. Tuesday, 6 May 2014.

Arts4Every1 Fri 10 June : A New Day Dawns

http://poetryinpubs.blogspot.com/2015/05/a-new-day-dawns.html

Arts4Every1 Fri 10 June. Thursday, 21 May 2015. A New Day Dawns. We set off one morning at 4 am and climbed 1500 steps in darkness, Orion's belt high in the sky. We could have touched it. We could see the Great Bear. The sky sparkled a million diamonds. The darkness laid down its head and a new day came to greet us. For all, our last day on the Great Wall. Mao Zedong (Chairman Mao) said. Bu dao Chang Cheng fei hao han. Whoever doesn't reach the Great Wall is not a real man. Follow O Derry Boy.

A million ears, a million eyes, a million hearts. Beijing, China 2012. Wednesday, May 20, 2009. I always feel that Irish writers should be handicapped in some way. Perhaps made to end each stanza or paragraph with a word ending in the letter Z. So comfortable are the Irish with rythm and cadence however that i sdoubt een this would prevent their pre-eminence with language. Let's face it, even George best was a poet! You have probably gathered that i am wholly impressed with this poem. Monday, May 4, 2009.

A million ears, a million eyes, a million hearts. Beijing, China 2012. Friday, March 15, 2013. Our lips shouldn’t touch. I like it too much. That gleam in your eyes is no big surprise anymore. Cos you fooled me before. I was in B&Q the other day, rainy day in London, rainy people, in the taps section, some bloke stocking shelves with taps, singing over this song on the radio by Doris Day. WHOOSH - I was transported back 40 years, how sweet those words sound. How come you can remember exact words,.

Friday, 31 October 2014. Your lies I believe. You seem cluttered but caught up. In my dreams you shine and I gaze up. It’s like you’re high when you speak up. I wonder for this love if you showed up? In your life without me. You lie still when your feelings sparks within me. Your lies within me got a spot soft. I try living without it. I believe you knowing, you know less. That you’re lying. Could this be love serving your heart in shackles? Maybe its life that true love frees the heart when tempted.
