Flour on the Floor. Despite frequent sweeping and mopping, there always seems to be a thin film of flour covering my kitchen floor. And I wouldn't have it any other way. We all need familiar ground under our feet from time to time. Sunday, November 8, 2009. Adapted from Small-Batch Baking. Muffin liners or cooking spray. 1/2 cup AP flour. 3/4 tsp. baking powder. 1/4 tsp. ground cardamom (you can use cinnamon but it changes the flavor completely). Yolk of one egg. 2 T milk (1% is fine). 2 T vegetable oil.

Tuesday, January 19, 2010. I've been home for quite a few hours, I've lost my playmate (David is sleeping), and I'd like to relate my adventures, so here we go. I actually started typing a very lengthy blog about my hospital stay but it was way too long so this will have to be more of a highlights blog. About fifty times.
