The vineyard itself is a wide sloping amphitheatre surrounded by trees giving the vines protection from strong winds and concentrating the sunlight hours into ripening luscious fruit. There are no items in your cart. 2011 Point Leo Road. This varietal "Lagrein" is native to the Alto Adige and Trentino provinces of north-eastern Intaly. After gentle destemming, the wine spent 14 days on skins before pressing. The wine was transferred to French oak barriques (30% new oak) for natural malolactic fermentation and matured for 18 months. Deep crimson red with purpkle hues. Savoury, sweet cherry and plum fruit; bright and natural acidity with a long finish of silky tannins.
