Semi-Pro Poker: Quick SNG
http://semi-pro.blogspot.com/2006/12/quick-sng.html
Wednesday, December 27, 2006. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Between the holidays and a busy work schedule, I haven't been able to play at all in several days. I wanted to sneak in a quick sit-n-go today at Absolute Poker. But I was a bit pressed for time so I decided that I would play risky and that if I got a good hand I would either go big or go broke. With this strategy, I stuck to the cheap $0.50 game (plus $0.10 fee). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wonderful World Of Poker.

http://semi-pro.blogspot.com/2006/12/short-stop-poker.html
Thursday, December 21, 2006. I've been very busy and haven't had a chance to play in a couple of days now. I think I must be experiencing poker withdrawals, because last night I caught myself dreaming that I was playing. Actually, it was kind of an interesting dream. In it, I was playing this hold 'em variation that my mind had invented, called Short Stop Poker. I recall in my dream some players at the table were annoyed with me because I got trigger happy with that stop button and clicked it every time ...

http://pokershack.blogspot.com/2007/02/how-to-know-your-poker-odds.html
A Blog About Hold'em Poker and Las Vegas Poker Rooms. Monday, February 19, 2007. How to know Your Poker Odds. Poker odds can be defined, in the simplest terms, as the odds of making your hand in the remaining cards to come. Though this is important, it is not the only thing to consider when trying to work out the odds on a particular hand. You must also compare the odds of making your hand with the odds the pot is offering (pot odds) for the bet that has to be made. If the odds of making your hand ar...

At the Golden Nugget there's a 3/6 game going but nothing else. Feel Free to leave your comments. Hi Poker Shack,. MTR sells...

In doing research for another post on sit and go poker tournaments in Las Vegas, I found that most of the poker rooms are offering them at a fairly high buy-in. http://pokershack.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
A Blog About Hold'em Poker and Las Vegas Poker Rooms. Wednesday, January 31, 2007. A Change In The Poker World. I have been reading a lot of posts about the "unlawful internet. Gaming act". They all talk about the effect that this law will have on online poker, but none look at what it will do to B&M rooms. And the other main money transfer businesses have pulled out of the US market. In playing here in Las. Vegas I am running into many online players that have given up on the internet. Links to this post.
