21 January, 2015. This entry was posted in Crochet.

Yarnbombing – Call to arms! June 11, 2014. June 11, 2014. At last I reveal the secret project. And a request for a little help! I work in a lovely little family-orientated GP surgery and I thought it would make our patients smile if we could yarn bomb the place with colourful flowers and wildlife animals and create a ‘Fantasy Garden’, and I thought why not ask for some help from my wonderful blogging friends. Can you Knit or Crochet? Do you own a yarn stash? Then maybe you would be able to help. Netting ...

January 15, 2014. Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! I’m so excited to have started the Follow Your Arrow knit along. I am nearly finished reading The Song of the Lark. Hi Gi...

Trick Pony →. Stamped Leather Bracelet Tutorial. April 18, 2014. Today I’m taking a break from fiber arts and showing you how to make stamped leather bracelets. This is a fun and simple craft, but it does require a few special tools, which are relatively inexpensive. I’m by no means an experienced jeweler, leatherworker, or metal stamper, so please forgive any crudities here. Here is a list of exactly what I got in case you’re interested. Bead Landing 16 gauge aluminum wire (5 yards). Bead Landing 1/16 i...

Little Wren Cottage: Welcome!
http://littlewrencottage.blogspot.com/2014/03/welcome.html
Hello and welcome to my little corner of Blogland! A starting place for getting lost. Sunday, 16 March 2014. I am hoping to use this blog as a place to keep all my woolly scraplings together! My first love was wool. I learnt myself to knit on our narrow boat at the weekends when all the grown ups disappeared down to the local watering hole! I've knitted lots of different things over the years including scarecrows to raise money for my daughters school! Cross stitch quickly became my second love! I hope y...
