Monday, July 5, 2010. This is the outside of the cabin. View down to the docks and firepit. Landon, Lance, Chris, Ryan, Bre, Makenna, Syd. Makenna and Sydnee. apparently Robert(Makenna's dad) told them they could get on and ride around. well, the mom's weren't so happy about that because the road they were on is the one that the cars drive on. so needless to say, their fun ended pretty quick. She actually did pretty good. That is a funny story. Feels a little cold! Bre and me at Yellowstone. Simple templ...

Cooking with Natural Foods. Favorite Fats and Oils. June 25, 2008. 124; 84 Comments. I've done grilled pizzas with a range of pizza doughs. If you're looking for a dough made with whole grain flour, try this one. It's a riff on Peter Reinhart's Napoletana Pizza Dough recipe. Once you throw that dough onto the grill, the next steps come in rapid succession whether you're ready or not. I've had success with White Whole Wheat Pizza Dough. Or Peter Reinhart's Napoletana Pizza Dough recipe. Caramelized fennel...

As there is no casual way to say this, ahhhem, let me just blurt it out: I am baking a wedding cake! Like, a real live honest-to-god wedding cake. I have always wanted to make a wedding cake. Alex and my wedding cake was well-intentioned but ultimately disappointing. That said, although I volunteered, no insisted. The reception is eight blocks from o...

Smith Family: ROAD TRIP!!!!!
http://shaunlynettesmithfamily.blogspot.com/2011/07/road-trip.html
Tuesday, July 19, 2011. For our big vacation this year we decided to have a ROAD TRIP! And I mean ROAD TRIP! 3500 miles, 9 days and 9 states total! It was so much fun. Tiresome at times, some frustrating moments. but overall such a fantastic time! We went with Shaun's dad, his 2 sisters and their families. It can be a test of patience sometimes to take such a big trip with extended family, but I think we got along really well for being together 9 days straight. The kids had a great time! The Nauvoo Templ...

Sunday, December 12, 2010. The Merriest Place on Earth! So we took a family vacation to the "Merriest place on earth"! It was a good trip. we drove there and back but the kids did really well. The weather was like fall in Utah and we did get rain one evening. The crowds were not the least we have ever seen, but definately not the worst either (side note: NEVER go to D-land over UEA weekend! The worst crowds ever! At the entrance ready for some fun! Splash Mountain is a favorite! We heart Minnie Mouse!

Smith Family: April 2010
http://shaunlynettesmithfamily.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 20, 2010. The next day we went back and walked all over the place and rode the trolley cars, drove up and down those crazy steep streets and Lombard street was a hit with the kids. We just had fun. We were exhausted and had to get up at 3 am to head back home. Getting ready for Wicked! Almost time to go in! Me and BK. (not sure what's up with the peace sign). Shopping in Chinatown. The girls had to get some cheap trinkets. Breanna with Alcatraz in the background. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
