Laughing Yaffle: July 2010
http://laughingyaffle.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 7 July 2010. I've been suffering from a bad case of Blogger's Neglect. Truth is, I've been trying to avoid the internet! Well, not entirely of course. I mean I've been avoiding those sites like FaceTwit, Betsy, DoomTube, Rabblery, etc etc. - the ones that suck you in before spitting you out in an exhausted heap seven hours later, minus your self-esteem, entire day, sanity and money. So here's a brief snippet of what I've been doing instead (click for bigger). Try it, go on! Visit my yarn shop!

Laughing Yaffle: Round and around
http://laughingyaffle.blogspot.com/2012/04/round-and-around.html
Tuesday, 3 April 2012. This month's update is a very stripy one! It will be up on the website around 13th April. I've dyed up a few striped yarns in two- and three-colour varieties, including the purple and green one above. Although you can't have that one, it's mine ;-) The temptation was just too great! I'm having a go at knitting an afterthought or peasant (charming! Heel with this one, hence the row of odd-coloured yarn, which, I promise you, won't be present in your skein of stripes:. Yes am a bit p...

Laughing Yaffle: October 2011

Monday, 17 October 2011. This is part of the original bit of patchwork. It's equipped with a charming degree of wonkiness! Whoever made it struggled with the different weights of fabric and in trying to get the seams to match up. Or, well, who knows, maybe the person didn't struggle - they just didn't give a hoot! Equipped with a degree of wonk! It was like a quilter's game of Whose Line is it Anyway. A quilt in the style of.a wonky quilt! How I love those vintage bits of fabric! As you can see, I haven'...

Laughing Yaffle: October 2010
http://laughingyaffle.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, 16 October 2010. After a summer without much sock knitting (too hot for socks! I've finally got round to finishing some of the things I started before the temperature rose. I put an end to the monkeying around. I'm here all week, folks! Sorry about the blue-ish light, the sunlight isn't reaching my room today! And I managed to finish a pair of Green River. Keeping a note is boringly efficient! Friday, 15 October 2010. It's been a while! I am still here though, honest! Still officially a small (...

Laughing Yaffle: Cabled dog blanket?
http://laughingyaffle.blogspot.com/2012/01/cabled-dog-blanket.html
Tuesday, 10 January 2012. Well, I was going to post something about all the knitting I've been doing while I've been on a bloggy holiday, but a little something got in the way. This just proves that what I suspected is true: I only ever knit or crochet for the dog! 19 January 2012 at 15:08. 28 January 2012 at 13:33. It suits him, does he manage to fasten it up to the top? 9 February 2012 at 18:05. Haha yes just :D must make a smaller one for the walks though ;-). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Laughing Yaffle: December 2012
http://laughingyaffle.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 4 December 2012. It's been a while. Possibly I am the worst blogger in the world. Anyway. Contrary to popular opinion, I do actually knit sometimes. This is a pair for a gift, knitted in Buddleia. As well as knitting those I've been knitting mostly small things ready for my baby's arrival in April. This is a stripy version of Felix's Cardigan. For its first few days at least! This second tiny cardigan ('Linnie', on Ravelry). How do people manage to knit all this stuff during their pregnancy?
