I festseminariet belönades för 32. gången den landsomfattande Årets By 2016 och de byar som fått erkännande. Byaverksamhet i Finland r.f. namngav också i evenemanget Byaverksamhetens Vägvisare, Årets Landsbygdsaktör och Årets Landsbygdsansikte. Årets By 2016: Kerässieppi. The church was built 1931-1932 at the exact same place where the old wooden church from the 18th century stood. The altarpiece. Is from the old church from the 18th century.
