Ponderings of a Christian Introvert. My thoughts, my life, me. What’s been holding me back? January 2, 2017. January 7, 2017. I’m working through abandonment issues since childhood; something I didn’t understand I had until recently. The thought of being left/rejected/slighted/overlooked instantly causes my heart to harden. My self-esteem plummets due to my own failure, and mind and body retreat into protection mode. Have I unknowingly been putting Jesus in the same catagory as everyone else who has left?
