Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Walking Church and visiting friends in Coventry. Walking church is something Wood Green Mennonite Church launched in the last year. There was a "trial run" in 2011 and then formally launched in January of 2012. Launching an event that goes outside in January is quite ambitious, especially with the possibility for inclement weather, but so far it has had reasonably nice days. Saturday, January 23, 2010. Ambulance Chopper Lands on the Streets! A couple blurry shots (sorry I was working quickly) of the chopper to prove it happened (as it's likely not newsworthy to anyone else). It's just the first time I've ever seen a chopper land in a major city to airlift someone out. The chopper really blows up a lot of dirt when you are close. Friday, January 22, 2010. A cool clock where the grasshopper on top moved as well as the lights (hour/minute/second). One dog is very well behaved.

Monday, August 29, 2011. Cycling - Thirn to York. Day 5 of cycling 44 mile day, 297 total. Today was another shorter day. Had another cooked breakfast to get ourselves going - eggs, toast, bacon, tea, and juice! Pretty bridge where we indulged in some donuts. Buildings turn to brick from stone as we get closer to York. Friday, June 24, 2011. Wimbledon 2011 and where I'll be moving in August. The following pictures are from me at Centre Court (before they played they allowed people to take pictures) and mostly from court 1 where I was seated with one picture of Lois/Wayne's view from court 12 when I was with them.
