Founded in 1923 and called the Pontefract Conservative and Constitutional Club the original building was constructed in 1803 by Oxford College. A proud supporter of two charities, the club presented a cheque for 2000.00 to The Air Ambulance as a result of the very popular and well supported Auction Night together with other fund raising events and collection box donations during the year.
