Its the little things. Okay, this isn't a pool table scenario I'm asking about, but a match scenario (besides I still haven't figured out cue table): When someone is distracting you during a match, what do you do? Here are a couple of scenarios that happened recently:. Did this affect the outcome of my match?

http://poolminnow.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sucking less at pool one day at a time. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Just a little bit. Okay, so now I have not one, but two longer almost completed posts in need of editing, but no time to finish them, so just a brief recap on the APA Singles Regionals a couple weeks ago: I lost. So, the next week, I started working a little bit of exercise into my daily schedule. And then a couple things became apparent to me:. 1) I am in TERRIBLE shape! Links to this post. Saturday, October 9, 2010. I'm working on a lon...

Brooklyn Jay: January 2009

Just Your Normal Everyday Pool Hack. Friday, January 30, 2009. It's Official. I'm in Full Suckage Mode. Just when I think I was turning a corner and felt like I was getting a handle on all the changes I've made to my pool game I go and lose again. That's now 4 consecutive D players I've lost to in a row in leagues with this particular D having beaten me twice during this period of ineptitude. I even heard "Hey, we'll let you play him again. You've already beaten him once.". And I Hung. It. Up. The D is o...

Friday, February 26, 2010. I left you all hanging because I needed a little break. Too bad it wasn't much of a break but more of a jam packed couple of weeks. I went out to lunch with my Mom, sister Brandi, and niece Alexia to the Tea Room in Mackinaw, IL. It was awesome food and a fun time.a couple pics for you. Even Frank got to go along this time. Sarah Rousey: I'm Alive....
http://sarahrousey.blogspot.com/2010/07/im-alive.html
Tuesday, July 13, 2010. I did get to watch a lot of great pool though. Jason qualified for the World Pool Masters and finished in the top 32. The 10-ball event was full of great players. It was possibly the best field I have ever seen in an event. LeeVan Corteza was the eventual winner. I got the chance to stop by the pawn shop where Pawn Stars is filmed, of course it was closed. We also ate at another Man Vs. Food spot, Hash House a Go-Go. Here are a few pictures from the trip. I also got a chance to go...

Sarah Rousey: September 2009
http://sarahrousey.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 30, 2009. I know, it's been over a week since the tournament. Sorry! Real-life called and wanted me to come back. Everyone knows the outcome of the tournament. I finished tied for 9th after going into the redraw undefeated. Ga Young Kim won the tournament and Kelly fisher got second, Xiao-ting Pan and Jeanette Lee tied for 3rd. So now, you can hear it from my point of view! First off, I have to say the Sky Ute Casino and Resort. My third match was against the number one seed Monica W...

8230; Confessions of G Squared …. 8230;Undercover Badass…. The social effect in pool is quite daunting sometimes. Competition in any sport brings out two distinct reactions to success . respect and jealousy. . They don’t let short-comings in any aspect of life stop them from reaching their goal and they respect other players who do the same. . Then you have the Green Monster Hosts… And I speak from experience as a witness, victim and guilty party. . You’ve won a tournament? He didn’t deserve it!
