Impressive sharks and rays. June 16, 2013. In one of the shows called Discover Reef Shark, you can see, as the name says, reef sharks but also an amazing zebra shark and various kinds of rays. The stingray with its enormous tail is also very impressive. A zebra shark, a reef shark and a stingray (at the bottom). A zebra shark at the Vancouver Aquarium. Whytecliff Park at sunset | Impressions.
http://wernicke.ca/2015/03/whytecliff-park-at-sunset
Personal Blog of Marcus and Christine. Whytecliff Park at sunset. Together with some friends we once again went to Whytecliff Park hoping to see some harbour porpoises there. Well, we saw some wildlife – seagulls, double-crested cormorants, and harbour seals, but where were the porpoises? Finally, long after sunset, we spotted five harbour porpoises travelling towards Horseshoe Bay. Seeing these amazing animals was so worth the wait. I can’t wait to be back! View from Whytecliff Park. Leanne Susie – Living with Cameras. Bear Watching in Prince Rupert. Bear Watching in Prince Rupert. July 29, 2016. On our trip to Prince Rupert we were fortunate enough to be hosted by Prince Rupert Adventure Tours. Check out the claws on this one! Very glad I was on a boat and well off shore. Bears don’t actually see very well so perhaps he could smell us…. To be able to view an animal in nature without negatively impacting on it’s environment is simply awesome! So that my bear story, tell me yours!

The cutest harbour porpoises ever! June 16, 2013. Daisy is often seen hovering in her corner of the habitat, and so it was a pleasant surprise to see her coming down to the underwater viewing area as well. The funny thing was that she said hello to her visitors first while Jack was waiting for his turn behind her. Aren’t those two just adorable? Daisy and Jack at the Vancouver Aquarium. Daisy coming down first, Jack in waiting position. Daisy posing in front of the cameras, Jack slowly coming nearer.

Daisy is a pro. June 16, 2013. Whenever Daisy comes down to the underwater viewing area, she is looking for the biggest lenses. Having found the one she likes most, she starts posing for pictures – and does that very professionally. Probably she can see herself in the lens, and therefore is checking herself out? But this is so cute to watch! A very cute Daisy. Daisy checking out the cameras and her visitors. A close-up of Daisy. Another close-up of Daisy. Daisy at the Vancouver Aquarium. Jack, the charmer.
