Port Fairy House | A new house project
A new house project. Back to the burbs. November 21, 2013. The successful completion of a house building project will not be fully realised until the property is sold. So now we realise this success with the settlement of this property today to new-comers to Australia from the UK. They got off the plane and the next day bought our house. We have enjoyed the wild south-west of Victoria for four years now and it is truly a beautiful place that is yet untouched by the rat-race that is Melbourne and surrounds.

A rabbit-proof fence was erected at the front of the cemetery with extremely ugly brick pillars and a low wrought-iron gate (which was replaced in about 2008) with the new picket fence and gates modelled on the original drawings. The immediate plan of the Trust members is to beautify the Children's area by removing the distinctively ugly toilet block as it sits amongst the children's graves.
