Akaa is a town born as a result of current areal politicas in Finland: uniting two communities Toijala and Viiala. It is a town with two hearts, but no coherent identity. The postcard series is an attempt to create an identity for this new town and promote it throught images, as honestly as it was seen by the artist. The series was exhibited at the Toijala railwaystation as a part of the Näkymä.
