Saturday, January 27, 2007. Last Wednesday, N and I, with our mates Jen, Thomo and Alex went to Symbio Wildlife Park and had a super day. They had a few new residents since we last visited - Red Panda's, Marmosets, Meercats and Tasmanian Devil. We really enjoyed the hands-on reptile show. Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Day Light Saving has arrived . Some long awaited updates . Lots of yoga and gym with some trips to the climbing gym, tennis and swimming with friends. Getting ready for her art exhibition next April at Thirroul Seaside Festival ( http:/ www.thirroulfestival.com/. Enjoying circus ( http:/ www.circusmonoxide.com.au/. Stilts and hoops are N's favourites. Last holidays attended a 3 day learn how to surf school. Going to dancing classes with mum (samba, ballroom, tango, cha-cha etc).

Friday, February 09, 2007. Here is N in her new school uniform.first day of school. We are into the second week of school and last Wednesday was the swimming carnival at Corrimal pool(outdoor heated pool). She went in two races, the freestyle and butterfly. Wednesday, March 21, 2007. So, what's M been up to over the past couple of months beside settling back into work in the Sydney office and getting used to the one-way 2 hour commute. Btw, surf has been pretty crap and with El Nino. Change, more rain during summer - bugger for the beach but we need the water in the dams. It's kitchen reno time! Wednesday, April 25, 2007. One day M was having a general discussion with parents of a friend and we got onto SCARF. SCARF stands for Strategic Community Assistance to Refugee Families. Http:/ www.scarf1.org.au/. SCARF is an independent, not-for-profit, community based incorporated association established to enhance the resettlement process of permanent resident status refugee entrants in the Illawarra Region of NSW. J may assist in teaching subjects as a volunteer once the kitchen is completed.

Saturday, January 05, 2008. We had a full house for Xmas. Nan-Jan, Grandad, Grandma, Kathy and Taylor all stayed at some point over the Xmas period with everyone under the same roof for Xmas day/night, then slowly dispersing over the following days until M, J, N and Taylor (N's cousin - 11 yo) were alone to enjoy the beach. Tuesday, June 26, 2007. We have become a Great Aunt, Great Uncle and First Cousin once removed. Isabelle Alexandria born at 5.15pm on Monday the 25th June weighing 8lb9oz. Now I do feel old. Her mother, Fern, was a flower girl at our wedding; Nikita was flower girl at her wedding. Now Fern is a mum. Congratulations Fern and Ian. Fern is M's sister's eldest daughter.
