Atlanta, GA. This past weekend I ventured from the safety of my suburban home to the interior of metropolitan Atlanta. The reason?

Ponce City Market, Atlanta, GA. A dreary Sunday led to a fun afternoon of aimless wandering (apparently my favorite activity) in the vicinity of Ponce City Market. Driving to a friend's house, which turned out to be surprisingly far away for some reason, I arrived a little past noon. Parking on the street (didn't have to parallel! Atlanta, GA. Cloudland Canyon, Georgia. I'm stressed out. Work is dumb. Issues not of my own making and doing the jobs of others, non-existent others (read: hire more people), has made me a somewhat unhappy camper. The natural thing to do? Yeah a lot of that (that is photography lingo you sickos). [.]. It took me a while to find the actual address. After a very brief pit stop, we went to Ponce City to grab lunch at Holeman Finch. AWESOME freaking burger. This [.]. Atlanta Botanical Gardens, GA. Coming at the end ...

Southeastern Railway Museum, Georgia. We had two gorgeous models posing for us in the train yard on what would turn out to be a sweltering Georgian morning. The temperature wasn’t too bad, but shooting inside a train car that isn’t air conditioned? Well, let’s just say I don’t know how the models dealt with it, sitting there in the heat as we tried our best to capture their likeness. Oh and I’m not sure if that’s really a 1960 Pullman, as I just made it up….

Alpharetta, GA. What do you get when you put a pretty girl together with a guy, particularly this one? Not what you might think; given the theme of this blog, one may be able to guess - with a reasonable degree accuracy - that it's something related to photography. While I had been building up my collection of lighting equipment, its limited use had turned them into places of profound dust collection. Fortunately for both my neglected studio equipment and portfolio, I had the opportunity t[.].

On a hot and humid summer afternoon, one where most people would choose to remain either indoors or near a large cool body of water, I – along with a couple of models and a handful of photogs, decided to brave the heat and go out into the middle of the woods to uh…you guessed it, take pictures. After a while though, it did get a little hot. Subjects got a little tired, and we all got hungry. Some great photos came out of the session though; hit the link. To see the rest.
