This year Portrait Salon is creating a multi-location exhibition in Clerkenwell, London. Using Metro Imaging’s gallery space as our base (where we will be exhibiting selected portraits) we will curate a map of portraits across Clerkenwell where selected photographers will have work shown in retail and business’ shop front windows from the 15th to 26th November. In September we will release a full list of the locations that will be showing the portraits and our launch event will be held at J A Cafe.

Twenty sixteen is just around the corner, and with a new year comes a new mission. 2015 was fairly quiet for us, photographically speaking. However, a few things spring to mind instantly. Lauren made a dream come true for us both by arranging a week’s stay in Iceland. Superlatives can not do its majesty justice. One of our missions was to see the Aurora Borealis. A collaboration with Short Anthology. November 29, 2016. Short Anthology asked me to read and respond to a short story. Hope you enjoy the images. I took pictures in response to the story 'The Coast' by Jon Raymond from the book ‘Livability’. Over time I came to imagine Judy and the coast as somehow the same. It was like her spirit seeped into the Manzanita and yellow swamp lanterns, the clapboard chowder bars and the chapped whale murals. One awards reject is another awards winner. November 08, 2016.

Tuesday, 27 November 2012. Portrait Salon This Thurs. I am really looking forward to this Thursday 29th Nov, because it's Portrait Salon. Last years launch party was a great gathering of beautiful imagery, lovely upbeat photographers and plenty of boozes. I was really impressed with how quickly and impressively Carole Evans and James O'Jenkins (PS Founders) had turned the event around. It's inaugural year was a real success and showed real promise as an annual event in the Photography world's calendar.

Happy New Year all! We are starting the new year with a bang, with our first ever PRINTED exhibition of the Portrait Salon 2013 selection. The exhibition will launch the new Fuse Art Space in Bradford, which is run by PS ‘12 selected photographer Sarah Faraday.
