Torvaig Caravan and Campsite at Portree on the Isle of Skye. Torvaig has 90 pitches, spread over 3 acres of land. 30 hard standing pitches have 230 volt, 16 amp electric hook-up points. The site has two toilet blocks, both with toilets, free showers, shaver points and hair driers. A chemical disposal point is also available. The laundry area is well equipped with sinks, washing machine and tumble drier. We are open from 4 April to 24 October in 2016. Hard stands and grass.

Torvaig Caravan and Campsite Information. All campers should book in at reception on arrival - latest arrival 9.00 pm. Pitches must be vacated by 11.30am on day of departure. Tent stays for more than 7 nights will be required to move to another area of the pitch in order to reduce wear and tear on the ground. Caravans with awnings should not use a ground sheet if staying for more than seven days. All campers are asked to keep noise to a minimum after 11pm. No radios are to be played after this time.

Portree Angling Association 2009. Club of the Month. The Isle of Skye is a great location for salmon and trout fishing and its mainly spate rivers attract anglers from all over the country. Portree Angling Association has access to beats on the Snizort, Lealt, Kilmartin, Ose, Amer, Kilmaluag and Brogaig rivers. Salmon catches in 2010 were the best for many years. The season runs from 15th March until mid October and whilst fair means can be used on some rivers, the fly is the preferred method of fishing.
