Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Walking in the rain . . .and a surprise at bottom. They say when life gives you lemons, make lemonade so I am making the best of our rainy days here! CLICK on to enlarge to see he beauty of the raindrops. I have a habit of saying that I wish it would rain only at night when I am sleeping but then I would miss this, wouldn't I? I had posted the above rainy photos from last week. Monday I saw my first tulip. And here it is! I thought it was white but it looks kinda creamy to me.

Monday, November 30, 2009. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas . . . Saturday, I made a wreath for my door and one for a friend too. The one with the white bow and snowflakes is mine and the red and white bow is on Roberta's door. They came out really different as the people at church who gathered the different greens got some unusual ones this year. . . so I experimented.CLICK on to see details - especially the snowflakes on my wreath's ribbon. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Trees I have "known" at Mt. Rainier. . . This will be my last entry on this blog as I have just about run out of photo space. Please join me over at PERBS. The new growth contrasts beautifully with the tree. The rock slides look like an angel on the left and Jesus on the right. The branches growing from the side of this trunk were contrasts from dead to fall colors to olive green. Can you see the SMILEY face in this tree trunk? Blue skies and snow!
