So flash forward to late last year and I find myself in a home loan modification situation, a very common theme in 2009. I call the cu and asking about it, service was outstanding, and then the modification paperwork comes and the fun begins. I ask about the status and she states that we were declined. I ask how come I had not heard anything. I ask her for advice.
